Barb's gift is the ability to make the complex simple. She has more than 25 years experience in marketing, branding, customer research and communications. She has developed and grown brands working in executive and management roles for Bank of Montreal, Imperial Oil and Moore Corporation. Barb has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in engineering from the University of Waterloo which gives her a truly unique approach when it comes to communications. She is able to look at and understand all perspectives, problem solve and logically link things together to create a big picture that is clear and easily understood by target audiences. She translates customer and employee insights into innovative, workable ideas that can be applied internally and externally depending upon an organization's communication needs. |
Denny has more than 25 years of communications expertise as a journalist, public relations practitioner, media trainer and crisis manager. She spent most of her journalism career with Canadian Press, but also worked in small and medium media markets. She worked in executive and management roles at Hill and Knowlton and Bank of Montreal and was a communications advisor to a provincial health minister. Denny is able to distill complex communications into easily-understood key messages. She is an expert at producing clear, yet comprehensive written materials as well as teaching spokespeople how to communicate their ideas to a variety of audiences. She has appeared on all major Canadian television networks as a media spokesperson as well as national and regional newspapers across the country. She also taught the post-university Media Relations course at Toronto's Centennial College.
